The Toxic Avenger red band teaser trailer for Legendary Entertainment's upcoming superhero remake has been released.

The video previews the level of gore and violence that fans should expect to see from Macon Blair’s reimagining of the 1984 cult classic. It also teases the titular hero’s incredible powers, as he easily takes down a group of hostage-takers called the Nasty Lads.
The Toxic Avenger reboot is a contemporary take on Troma Entertainment’s 1984 cult classic dark comedy that subverts the superhero genre in the vein of Kick-Ass. Joining Dinklage are Jacob Tremblay , Taylour Paige , Kevin Bacon , Elijah Wood , Julia Davis , Jonny Coyne , Sarah Niles , David Yow , and Jane Levy .
