The show follows the ambitious Payton Hobart, masquerading as Tracy Flick reincarnated. He's got his singularly-focused sights set on Harvard and, eventually, the title of POTUS. But first he's got to clinch student body President at the cutthroat Saint Sebastian High School. Murphy mainstays on the campaign trail include Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange, while newcomers Zoey Deutch and Lucy Boynton threaten political suicide.
