This review was written during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, the series being covered here wouldn't exist.You know what would make a good zombie story? One where a troubled loner has to escort a kid who could save a broken world through a hostile environment where the undead that have overrun it are merely one threat of many.
