But Judith McKenna , the CEO and president of Walmart International, who leads more than 6,000 retail stores and 700,000 associates across 26 countries, is on the list. That’s becauseThis year’s list includes 13 billionaires who have a combined net worth of $86.7 billion. Some lead S&P 500 companies like Safra Catz or founded companies like Judith Faulkner , Zhou Qunfei and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw .
“There is a tectonic change with powerful women standing up for other women and investing and supporting other women, which a generation ago was not as much the case,” says Krawcheck. Women are realizing that gender diversity is not moving fast enough, so they are pushing it forward faster. “If we wait we will be waiting forever,” she says.
