Saw X will differ from its predecessors, framing its story from John Kramer's perspective. Kramer is the villain of the other Saw movies, the infamous Jigsaw, who puts his victims in deadly traps so that the survivors will appreciate their lives. Prior Saw films dug into Kramer's backstory and his terminal illness, but Saw X will go deeper. Set between Saw 1 and Saw 2, it follows Kramer to Mexico, where he's been promised a cure.
Saw 3D Has The Franchise's Highest Kill Count Saw 3D is far from the best Saw movie, but the film has one thing going for it: its kill count. According to Dead Meat's YouTube series "The Kill Count," there are a total of 26 on-screen deaths in the 2010 film — the most in any Saw movie to date. This includes the deaths of unnamed characters, as well as more memorable demises like Dina's public execution by saw.
Saw X Can't Beat Saw 3D's Kill Count Given the main focus of Saw X, it's unlikely to dethrone Saw 3D when it comes to its impressive kill count. The film takes viewers back to Kramer's early days, so it's difficult to imagine it featuring the deaths of more than two dozen people. The Saw X trailer confirms that Kramer's victims are the medical professionals who lied to him during his cancer treatment.
