The opening of the Seattle game demonstrated that the 49ers are capable of overcoming this flaw, though it requires 90-yard offensive drives and opponents going backward when they three-and-out against the 49ers’ defense.
The flaw doesn’t look like much; it’s a pimple on a giant. It’s also just the type of thing that could bring down what is otherwise a planet-destroying juggernaut.
