Two sites in the Lake Tahoe region make the top 10, but the Inyo National Forest is home to the most popular reservations.
The Dyrt discovered that the Twin Lakes Campground in Inyo National Forest is the most sought-after reservation in the state — having been booked 97.2% of the time.
Curiously, half of the campgrounds in the top 10 are in Inyo National Forest, with the other four being Silver Lake Campground, Coldwater Campground, Convict Lake Campground and June Lake. Each of these sites is booked more than 88% of the time.
