Rosotics founder Christian LaRosa is using technology to 3D-print massive metal parts for the first time, and he's looking to the stars.

Christian LaRosa wanted to be a pilot when he grew up.

Rosotics’ Rapid Induction Printing uses its nature-inspired “Mantis” technology to 3D-print massive metal parts for the first time. The number of Rosotics clients has tripled over the last several weeks, LaRossa said, all of them seeking large-scale 3D metal printing for industrial needs. Many of them had no first-hand experience with the process.

Vibe Capital general partner Tim Ryan visited the Rosotics Mesa facility last year and was wowed by the set up.
