On Tuesday, the Senate passed a bill to reauthorize the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund to provide financial support for first responders and victims through 2092. And although people are excited to see it finally go through, they are seemingly most enthralled by a photo of the bill’s most adamant supporter, Jon Stewart, smiling as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell walks right by him.
