April has arrived, bringing plenty of art and music events Anchorage this weekend, from an outdoor DJ show to a comedy festival and the UAA Dance Program's final performance of the year.

April has arrived, and while there’s still snow on the ground, that isn’t stopping legendary DJ/producer Steve Aoki from performing an outdoor show Saturday evening in downtown Anchorage. The UAA Dance Program is presenting its final show, a huge retrospective featuring current and alumni dancers. Plus the B4UDie comedy fest has loads of laughs at locations all across Anchorage. And First Friday features plenty of art and music.

The UAA Dance Program and Department of Theatre and Dance will produce its final event on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Anchorage Museum.This will be the final event ever produced by the UAA Dance Program, as the curtain falls on UAA’s Department of Theatre and Dance this year.

The legendary DJ/producer/impresario will perform an outdoor show on F Street outside Williwaw. SAYMYNAME will provide direct support as a special guest, along with Pineo and Loeb, Had Dat and DJ Tati. The rare April outdoor show will have an après-ski vibe complete with heaters and warming tents.
