A TikTok challenge in which people take large doses of Benadryl is being blamed for the death of a 13-year-old Ohio boy.
The parents of Jacob Stevens tell WSYX Channel 6 that their son took 12 to 14 of the pills for the over-the-counter antihistamine in an attempt to induce hallucinations. The dosage caused Jacob to have seizures and put him in a hospital, where he reportedly was on a ventilator for a week before he died.

CBS News reports the Food and Drug Administration has for years cautioned against taking the challenge, which has spread on the social media app TikTok.
