Among the newly announced featured speakers are legendary actor William Shatner, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, actress and entrepreneur Kristen Bell and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.

Tuesday also saw a long list of newly announced featured sessions including “The Art of Creating Influence 101,” “The Blog Era: Hip-Hop’s Wild Wild West,” “Daddy Issues in Film” and “Evil Dead Rise: Flesh-Possessing Demons Come Home,” which will feature “Evil Dead” series creators Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi as well as Lee Cronin, the writer/director of the upcoming “Evil Dead Rise” horror film.
As we approach a year since the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, SXSW will host a featured segment called “The Kids Are Alright: Gun Violence Terrorizing Youth of America.” The session will address “youth trauma, activism, and what justice looks like in a time of rising hate crimes involving firearms.”
