Driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Chaney said the driver felt a bump and got out to see what they had hit. When they got out, they saw the child on the ground. The driver rendered aid to the child until paramedics arrived.Chaney said the driver showed no signs of intoxication. He said he knows there was an adult around when the child was playing, but he is unsure exactly where they were right now.
