Markets are pricing in a 91.5% probability that the Fed will leave interest rates unchanged at a range of 5.0% to 5.25% after its meeting on June 14, according to the CME FedWatch tool.
Meanwhile, U.K. 10-year gilt yields TMBMKGB-10Y were barely changed at 3.803% ahead of the Bank of England’s policy decision, due at 12 noon local time . With U.K. inflation remaining in double digits the BoE is expected to hike its borrowing costs another 25 basis points to 4.5%.
