A new survey of New Hampshire Republicans shows 47 percent of likely primary voters backed a Trump presidential run in 2024

Ron DeSantis’ 19 percent, and it dwarfs that of several former members of Trump’s administration.

Sens. Ted Cruz , Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton each polled at 2 percent or lower, as did South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. Notably, Pence was the only one who did not have a positive net favorability among the likely primary voters, further evidence thatNine percent of respondents said their top choice was someone other than those named by the pollsters, and 10 percent said they had not made up their mind.

The New Hampshire findings largely track with other early polling of the 2024 Republican landscape, with the former president lapping the field and DeSantisNearly 70 percent of the New Hampshire Republicans surveyed said they want Trump to run again in 2024. That enthusiasm was not shared by those outside the GOP; the poll found that just 18 percent of independents and 1 percent of Democrats who were also surveyed as part of the poll supported another Trump bid.
