In his forthcoming book, Letters to Trump, former President Donald Trump claims world leaders and celebrities as Queen Elizabeth II, Hillary Clinton, Clint Eastwood, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Jackson"kissed my a**" before he became president.
However, the 2024 hopeful said half of the people who previously sought his adoration changed their tune in 2016."I think they’re going to see a very fascinating life," Trump told the far-right Breitbart News of his book."I knew them all — and every one of them kissed my a**, and now I only have half of them kissing my a**."The book has been promoted as including 150 private letters over the past 40 years from influential people who have written to Trump.
"My father has lived an amazing life and has been around some of the most interesting people in the world," Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., told the outlet."It’s amazing how quickly their adoration of him changed when he ran for office as a Republican. Letters to Trump shows you exactly how they felt about him and how phony their newfound disdain truly is."
In addition to the aforementioned leaders and celebrities, letters from former Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama are also expected to be included. Correspondence with foreign leaders such as Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is also expected to be brought to light.
Before declaring his intention to run for president in 2015, Trump was best known as a business magnate and celebrity figure, no doubt leading to his communication with domestic and world leaders and celebrities alike. Letters to Trump, scheduled to be released on April 25, is sure to share insight into how they treated and perceived the real estate mogul, and as always, into Trump himself.
