Trump has accused the former secretary of state of breaking the law by meeting with Iranian officials after leaving office. A Kerry spokesman said “everything President Trump said today is simply wrong.”
By Felicia Sonmez Felicia Sonmez National reporter on The Washington Post's breaking political news team Email Bio Follow May 9 at 2:56 PM President Trump on Thursday said former secretary of state John F. Kerry should be prosecuted for discussing the Iran nuclear deal with officials from that country after leaving office.
