Turkish, Russian, and Syrian defence ministers hold comprehensive discussions on counterterrorism efforts in the region at a meeting in Moscow
"We are making efforts to ensure the security of our country, nation and borders," Akar told Russia and Syria at Wednesday's meeting.
"At the meeting, we discussed what could be done to improve the situation in Syria and the region as soon as possible, while ensuring peace, tranquility and stability," said Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar on Thursday before returning to Ankara from Moscow.
