The City of Saskatoon is now training and hiring fitness instructors.
“It would allow them to lead a safe land and/or aquatic exercise group, by providing appropriate exercises in order to meet the needs of participants,” says Kimberley Guillaume, City of Saskatoon fitness specialist.
Instructors also receive a free City of Saskatoon LeisureCard while they hold a current contract. Child Minding services are also available during public times for instructors.The pay for fitness instructors is $27 for regular classes and $32 for specialty classes. Being a fitness instructor is a very rewarding experience. It’s a chance to motivate others in a healthier lifestyle and watch the progress they make in their fitness journey.Article contentCertification also increases the trust class participants put in the instructor.
