Two hurt in two-vehicle crash Monday night in Crystal Lake.
Two people were transported to hospitals, one with life-threatening injuries, following a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Crystal Lake.
Crystal Lake police said the crash happened at about 8 p.m. near the intersection of Route 176 and Haligus Road. Police said an unnamed woman driving a black Ford Explorer was northbound on Haligus Road when she was struck by white Nissan Rogue headed westbound on Route 176. The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The unnamed male driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries, but was also transported to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.Authorities are asking anyone who may have information relating to the crash to contact the Crystal Lake Police Department at 356-3620.
