Venice Fire Rescue said the crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m., about a half mile from the Venice Fishing Pier.Investigators said the plane went down shortly after departing from Venice Municipal Airport. The Venice police captain believes there were more passengers on board the small aircraft, per WTSP.
"Marine units are searching the area for any other possible victims," the City of Venice, Florida, announced Wednesday.
