Two men wounded in West Oakland shootings.
OAKLAND — Two men were shot in different areas of West Oakland early Friday and Thursday night, one at a homeless camp and the other who said he was wounded during an attempted robbery, authorities said.The shooting at the homeless camp in the 1800 block of Wood Street near Raimondi Park happened about 2:07 a.m. Friday.
A 36-year-old man told police he was asleep in his trailer when he heard gunfire from outside and saw he had been shot in the leg.In the other shooting, a 42-year-old man told police he was walking in the area of 35th and West streets about 7:15 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle pulled up and two men got out.
