Hill is actually under contract for four more seasons, though the final year of his deal would carry a massive $56 million cap hit, and the team can get out of his deal before that with minimal damage to the dead cap.
It may have been just an offhand comment on a podcast, and Hill has no reason to stick to the timeline he offered, but it’s still interesting to hear the superstar wideout thinking of his career in those terms. If he were to hang up his cleats early, Hill did offer some insight into what he’d like to do instead of football.“I really want to get into the gaming space,” Hill said. “I really want to get huge in that and that’s kind of what I’m doing right now. I’m using my platform to create a gaming team, which isn’t launched yet. It should launch by the end of this month. I’m going to just sign different content creators, different athletes. I just been working that, talking to different sponsors.
