UK Music’s new “Manifesto for Music” report claims the United Kingdom’s enduring run as a leading music exporter is in danger.

One of the committee’s key recommendations was for the British government to commit to abandoning plans for a proposed new text and data mining exception that would allow AI companies to freely use copyright-protected works for commercial purposes.
