The group includes nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists, according to a statement from the Clinic. They will help support the Clinic amid an increase in coronavirus hospitalizations in Ohio and across the U.S. “While COVID-19 cases have begun to decline in Cleveland, we still have a high volume of COVID-19 patients and this will also allow us to accept more transfers and better serve our community and region,” a Clinic spokeswoman said in the statement.
The Air Force medical personnel will go through an orientation process and begin working in the next few days, the statement says.
