Coco Gauff has won her first Grand Slam title at the U.S. Open, beating Aryna Sabalenka, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, for the singles championship.
Gauff, a 19-year-old American who was seeded sixth, stormed from behind to beat Sabalenka of Belarus, who was seeded second and is set to take over the world No. 1 ranking, on Saturday at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
