UH opens AAC conference tournament on Friday: What to know

They hope to do it again after conference tournament in Fort Worth.The top-ranked University of Houston Cougars start their postseason on Friday in the second round of the American Athletic Conference tournament., a final title in the AAC before moving to the Big 12 would be a nice parting gift.
As the top seed, the Cougars have a bye in Thursday's first round and will open against the winner of No. 8 South Florida against No. 9 East Carolina.
