Houston picks up commitment from Klein Forest 4-star RB Parker Jenkins
Jenkins helped the Golden Eagles go 5-5 overall in 2021 and finished with just over 700 total yards and seven touchdowns. He’s one of 38 honorees named to this year’s Touchdown Club of Houston’s preseason team and is also a track and field sprinter.
Jenkins is the third four-star recruit from the Houston area to sign with coach Dana Holgorsen in the last three years, joining running back Alton McCaskill in 2020 and wide receiver Matthew Golden in 2021. Jenkins, the highest -rated recruit in the Cougars’ 2023 signing class, made an unofficial visit to campus in July.
