Uruguay, hosts of the 1930 World Cup, officially launched a bid with Argentina, Paraguay and Chile to anchor the prestigious tournament in 2030.
“One hundred years will be achieved only once. And it has to come back home,” Domínguez
at a press conference. “We believe that is more than enough of a reason for FIFA to accept that this becomes the only bid.”World Cup, named after the geography of the four South American countries.
