US-Spec Alfa Romeo Tonale Goes Into Production, Arrives In June For $42,995 | Carscoops carscoops ⚠️
was introduced over a year ago and it’s finally coming to America as production of the US-spec crossover is now underway.
Set to arrive at dealerships in June, the 2024 Tonale starts at $42,995 and is eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit as long as the plug-in hybrid crossover is leased instead of purchased. That makes leasing a no-brainer and we can likely expect attractive offers at launch.for the $44,995 Ti and $47,495 Veloce trims months ago, the company has confirmed they’ll be joined by an entry-level Tonale Sprint.
Other highlights are slated to include a wireless smartphone charger and a host of standard driver assistance systems. In particular, we can expect adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection. We can also expect traffic sign recognition technology, intelligent speed assist, a rear seat reminder, and blind spot monitoring.
The powertrain enables the Tonale to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than six seconds and hit a top speed of 130 mph . More importantly, we can expect an electric-only range in excess of 30 miles .
