It comes at a time when reports suggest that Germany is preparing to increase fiscal spending, and after China's central bank took steps to lower borrowing costs.is scheduled to publish its latest meeting minutes. Investors are also likely to closely monitor the Fed's Jackson Hole seminar and a G7 summit later in the week for clues on monetary policy settings.
On the data front, the Philadelphia Fed non-manufacturing business outlook survey for August will be released at around 8:30 a.m. ET.
