Addressing racial disparities in health care outcomes is an area where a data-driven approach can make a profound difference. Brigham Health, a member of the not-for-profit Mass General Brigham health system in Massachusetts, has developed a robust data infrastructure to understand the differential impact of Covid-19 on its patients and staff, has visualized data through dashboards to inform hospital operations and infrastructure, and uses data to design high-impact strategies to reduce harm caused by racism and other forms of structural discrimination.

On September 7, in a live, interactive Ask HBR webinar, Drs. Karthik Sivashanker and Sunil Eappen from Brigham and Women's Hospital will join HBR to discuss the key lessons they learned at Brigham Health and will answer audience questions around:How to tailor data to the audienceIf you would like to submit questions in advance of the webinar, please email themThe Covid-19 pandemic has been a painful reminder of the urgent need to address inequities in health care.
