As the U.S. women’s national team goes for a three-peat at the FIFA World Cup this summer, here’s how to catch all the matches scheduled leading up to the big tournament
The USWNT won two international friendly matches to finish off the month of January, beating New Zealand twice by a combined nine goals. The matches were played at Eden Park in Auckland and Sky Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand—both of which are match sites for the upcoming 2023 FIFA World Cup.
Led by coach Vlatko Andonovski, the USWNT will return in February for a final stint of international play at the 2023 SheBelieves Cup, with the United States hosting fellow World Cup participants Brazil, Canada and Japan for the first games on home soil of the year. The tournament will be split between three stadiums: Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Geodis Park in Nashville and Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
The USA punched its ticket to this year’s World Cup with a semifinal qualification at the 2022 Concacaf W Championship in July.
