A 6-year-old Utah girl who went to the golf course with her father has died after she was struck in the neck by a ball he hit, police said.
that the ball hit the 6-year-old in the back of the neck and that she was flown by medical helicopter to a Salt Lake City hospital, where she died from her injuries Monday evening.
The golf cart was not directly in front of the girl's father when she was hit but was around 45 to 90 degrees to his left, Colledge told KSL.
