LOS ANGELES — Valerie Harper's husband, Tony Cacciotti, took to Facebook on Wednesday to announce that he has decided not to move his wife into hospice care despite recommendations from doctors.
"We will continue going forward as long as the powers above allow us, I will do my very best in making Val as comfortable as possible," he continued. Many of Harper's fans commented on the Facebook post that hospice care can also take place at home and that it shouldn't be feared, but embraced as a compassionate way to make a patient comfortable at the end of life.
