ViacomCBS agreed to pay $375 million for a 49% stake in Miramax Pictures, known for movies such as “Pulp Fiction” and “Shakespeare in Love”
ViacomCBS Inc. said it is acquiring a 49% stake in movie and television production company Miramax Pictures from BeIN Media Group for $375 million.
Once best-known for its award-winning and avant-garde movies such as “Pulp Fiction” and “Shakespeare in Love,” Miramax is now primarily a library asset with more than 700 titles. Other well-known titles include Oscar winners “No Country for Old Men” and “The English Patient.”
