They are two kinds of shows that we will probably see more of once Netflix runs out of scripted series as the writers strike presses on, murder documentaries and comedy specials. #1 is now a second season of Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal, which is apparently such a scandal that it needed two seasons to keep telling the story. And it’s clear a ton of people continue to be interested in whatever happened here, judging by its debut at number one.
Second on the list is a new comedy special from Kountry Wayne, a popular comedian who has ten kids. He joins a string of comedians who have their specials debut rather high, but fall rather quickly because they’re just a single hour as opposed to an entire series.We are about to see some big new shows top the list in the next few days, including the final season of Sex Education, which just debuted today.
