Composed by Georgel, Kat, Juan Pablo Vega, and Miguel Rico, the Spanglish track, which translates to “We Shouldn’t Care,” celebrates a love that should be fearless and open. “We shouldn’t care about the time/ Let’s spend all night long/ living our own way/ leaving the fears outside.” The music video, filmed in El Paso, Texas, by Julio Abad, shows both artists singing and jamming to the song while lights of the color spectrum cover their faces and bodies.
“De Qué Sirve” is a ballad mixed with ranchero sound and rhythms that lyrically follows Rubio’s style of previous hits such as “El Ultimo Adios” and “Te Quise Tanto” that turned out to be popular anthems. Written by Rubio, Andrés Castro and Edgar Barrera, the song is about being a man who betrayed his girlfriend and instead of claiming she lets him know that he is the one who loses.
