Oakland A’s earn wild comeback win over New York Yankees
OAKLAND – DJ LeMahieu’s errant throw to first base — as he attempted to complete a double play — allowed Shea Langeliers to score from second as the A’s earned a wild, come-from-behind 3-2 win over the New York Yankees on Saturday.

The rookie Oller, making his 12th start of the season for the A’s, faced the minimum amount of batters through eight innings as he allowed just one hit and one walk. But the A’s were stymied by Yankees starter Domingo Germán, who allowed just three hits in 7⅔ innings. After Cabrera’s double to right-center in the sixth, Oller responded by getting Kiner-Falefa to ground out before he picked off Cabrera, who was trying to steal third base. Oller ended the inning by getting Kyle Higashioka to ground out.
