BALTIMORE — After snapping a six-game losing streak on Wednesday, the A’s nearly put together their first winning streak of the season.

Kotsay added, “That was a great game. Rook is really seeing the ball well right now. His confidence is there, he’s not missing mistakes and he’s doing damage.” Facing the team he pitched for in 2021-22, Orioles starter Cole Irvin gave up six runs, five hits and a pair of walks in four innings.
