Orlando NBC station WESH2 published video showing officials carrying “a large black figure in a white tarp.” The station – and the rest of us – are awaiting confirmation from Fish & Wildlife that it was, indeed the tranquilized bear. “We are working with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and have made the decision to reopen Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park,” Disney World said in a statement.
The animal kingdom visitor to the Magic Kingdom shuttered several rides and attractions — the Country Bear Jamboree and Jungle Cruise among them, naturally.
