Ware County Schools announced the cancellation of all athletic and extracurricular activities in anticipation of severe weather Wednesday afternoon.
School officials said parents who wish to check students out early may do so.“We have been in contact with local emergency management personnel and the National Weather Service concerning the impact incoming weather may have on our area. The strongest impact on our area is expected between 1:00 and 4:00 pm this afternoon.
“Parents who wish to check their children out early may do so. Gator All-Star Academy and all athletic and extracurricular practices and events have been canceled for this afternoon. We will use our call-out system, website, and Facebook to share the most up-to-date information available. Thank you!”
