Curry will not need an MRI, will attend practice and"has avoided major issue with his left foot,"Celtics big man Al Horford rolled onto Curry’s leg in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game as the two dove for a loose ball. Images and video of the play show Curry screaming in agony.
Though the Golden State guard looked hobbled, he remained in the game for a couple more minutes before coach Steve Kerr yanked all of his starters out of the game in the eventual 116-100 loss. Kerr noted that he didn’t pull Curry out of the game because of his apparent injury, but did still offer a foreboding statement in “we’ll know more tomorrow.”
Fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson seemed to echo the thoughts of every Warriors fan holding their breath whenCurry, meanwhile, was optimistic and repeated that he would be OK to reporters.
