Stephen Curry partially dislocated his left shoulder in a Dec. 14 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
SAN FRANCISCO — The Warriors won’t have Stephen Curry for at least two more weeks as he continues to nurse a shoulder injury.
Curry, who partially dislocated his left, non-dominant shoulder while trying to strip the ball from Pacers center Jalen Smith in a Dec. 14 loss, was recently re-evaluated by the team’s medical staff and was said to be making “good progress,” the team said in a statement Saturday morning. He’ll be re-assessed in two weeks, so he’ll be due for another update around Jan. 7. That means Curry will miss at least seven more games, including the Warriors’ Christmas Day clash against the Memphis Grizzlies. Andrew Wiggins will also likely be out for that 2022 Western Conference semifinals rematch Sunday as he continues to work his way back from a strained thigh muscle. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
