Recent changes were made by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as it pertains to public information regarding inmates at the Purgatory Correctional Facility
Ruby Franke, the YouTube mom and creator of 8 Passengers family lifestyle vlog, who is accused of felony child abuse, will be held without bail, a judge ruled on Sept. 8, 2023. Her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, who was arrested in the same case, is also being held without bail. Recent changes were made by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as it pertains to public information regarding inmates at the Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane.
2News reached out to Washington County Sheriff’s Office in early October after noticing a change to the inmate information page "housing location," which previously showed where inmates were being held within the facility. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office declined an interview request from 2News but did note this change had been in the works for quite some time. They said the process was expedited when they noticed information spreading rapidly on social media that exposed the "vulnerability" of this information.
