Firefighters from multiple departments are working to extinguish a large brush fire near Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis Saturday afternoon, according to Leon Springs Fire Department.
KSAT 12 has a crew on Blanco Road and Borgfeld Drive, in North Bexar County, and heavy clouds of smoke can be seen coming from the area.
According to Meteorologist Sarah Spivey, winds are coming from the south, causing smoke from the fire to blow north into Kendall County.
