, which is out July 26 via Matador Records, “No Bullets Spent” is a straightforward rock song filled with frontman Britt Daniel’s signature vocals and buzzing guitar licks. The track was written by Daniel, and features lyrics advocating for gun control and violence prevention in America. With no bells or whistles, the band played the track and let the audience bask in the roaring guitar and political lyrics.
