Flash flood warnings have been issued for portions of Berks and Chester counties, as thunderstorms pop over Chester and Montgomery counties.
FOX 29's Scott Williams has your Friday morning weather forecast.Severe weather is moving into the region, with flash flood warnings issued for portions of Berks County until 6:30 p.m. and Chester County until 7 p.m.
Another cluster of thunderstorm activity was in Chester and Montgomery counties and moving into Delaware County. Looking at other elements of the forecast, Wednesday and Thursday saw 90-degree temperatures in some parts of the area. If Friday also sees temperatures of 90 degrees or higher, it will mark the first heatwave of the summer. Friday's temperatures began in the 70s and are expected to rise throughout the day, with increased heat and humidity. Looking ahead, the weekend is set to be warm with more unsettled storms.
Saturday's storms will be scattered before more consistent and severe storm activity happens Sunday evening.
