President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he wants a “responsible phase-down of pandemic relief” as the country continues to respond to its economic consequences, according to the U.S. Department of Education. Supporting students and their families is a “top priority” for the Biden administration, he added, “especially those disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.”
