THE DUCHESS AND THE QUEEN FINALLY MET!
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Beyoncé had a genuine moment together at’s European premiere on Sunday, after weeks of speculation that the two would have a proper meeting at the star-studded event. The evening marked Meghan’s first official film premiere as a British Royal.Meghan and her husband, the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, greeted the film’s celebrity ensemble one by one on the golden, paw-print studded carpet ahead of its national premiere on July 19.
Footage from the carpet showed the two continuing to engage with each other — Beyoncé even asked about “beautiful” baby Archie — and fans of both women couldn’t help but notice the full circle moment the meeting represented. Before Meghan met Harry, she was an active Instagram user and often showed her love for Beyoncé in her posts and even attended the Formation World Tour.
The admiration and respect between these two women is undeniable. Only time will tell if this is the beginning of a beautiful — and immensely powerful — friendship.
